Enjoy.

Wow! Amazing sketches.

As someone who originally voted no fins, I would buy the first one.

I agree that it'll be dumb that everyone looks the same. We all have the same front lip, lots choose the same rims, etc. This is why I'm going custom with my solution; I should have pics up in a week.

The stock body of our cars looks sharp. That being said I am from the camp that says if you add anything to the body make it look like it was built in. I am not a fan of the front lip by Stillen as it is too large for the space it occupies. However the side skirts that Ghozt installed looks very sharp. they blend in very well with the stock rear corner panels and add just just a hint of extra dimension under the doors.

The rear diffuser should be something along this style, a little extra dimension without the view that something was bolted on. The only one diffuser that appeals to me is the one attached to the red Infinity. It is very suttle but it adds some impact. All the others look like something that belongs on the back of a large SUV, not a stream lined sports sedan.

Well thats my two cents.

That first rendering looks awesome, but note to stillen, please make it compatible without the rear corners. I personally like the stock splash guards/corners and although I understand making it require the stillen corners would force us to purchase multiple parts, it would also scare away many of the people who would want just diffuser, no corners.

That one was inspired by this:
http://www.mazda.co.uk/assets/uk/car...y-image-02.jpg

I'm beginning to see that angled drawings will be needed as well but didn't have decent angle shots with the Stillen rear corners available.

Anyone can drop the pic in a photo editing program, "sketch-ify" it, then erase the rear area to sketch in their own diffuser. I suggest you guys give it a shot. It was quite tough thinking of ideas and I utilized several different references.

My take on fins: they can be subtle or ***** out. They look okay on #1, #3, and #5 drawings I posted earlier, #3 based on that red G posted earlier, and #5 off of a Porsche 997 diffuser, which I see being actually functional for those of you that can/do travel at high speeds often.

The current Stillen kit setup actually looks great to me and seems like the A35 rocks it well with or without a diffuser. Looking at the rear, it doesn't look incomplete, and the current kit pieces complement the car and themselves as well.

I would love a rear diffuser, some of the designs look good, I don't know why they didn't have something from the factory like the Altima coupe did. This is a simple design and not over the top.

I did a quick photoshop (couldn't find a great pic of the rear of a max and mine isn't too close to take a pic).

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Just a thought. Maybe how it is now or 2 middle fins instead of just 1.

I like that idea a lot. Even without the fin, just a slope with some minor detail might look good.

I hope it looks good. Would be nice to have options because there are some people who have the rear corners and some that don't like me.

bump for updates.. I firmly agree with the design on the red infinity... Something thats compliments the flow of the car and can be perceived as "factory"... KISS

You guys are killing me.

And by 'you guys', I'm not talking about Stillen. I'm talking about everyone bumping this thread and salivating over a diffuser. Give it a rest! They're working on it!

Agreed.

I think it's pretty cool that they took the time to do this.

Ditto. It's apparent how much time/research they put in to bring out quality products. I didn't like those rear corners at first but they've grown on me.

Off topic: Anyone catch their 500hp 370z? A lot of work went into that baby. So nice... so nice...

Sorry for the very late logins

Josh@stillen hey everyone needed Rear Diffuser product and Yes i understand that a company cant just go make anything without meetings, approval, and all the other paperworks.

But hey Im Gonna go with what Ghozt said

"I've been on this forum for years and have never heard anyone say they wanted what are basically large gaudy splash guards on the rear. All I've heard is diffuser diffuser diffuser diffuser diffuser. Sarona made a rear piece, despite ugly, so this has to be possible. Whoever is the smart company to first make a diffuser gets all the business. Look at your front lip everyone has it. Someone is going to design one and mass produce it, the question is does STILLEN want to be that company or does someone else slide in and take all the business?"

i waited for stillen to come out with the rear diffuser but it didnt and im pretty sure everyone else did wait also. I respect it that ur here on this forum and always wanting to know what all maxima owners need for their next project..

Damaged in shipment with small cracks and 1 big crack(9cracks total) which is all fixable but for a big company like stillen thats not a worry cuz they can do it and plus who knows they may make it much better then how i made it
