Looking to get coils

What's going on guys
I have a 2010 nissan maxima set up with 2013 370z rays and eibach springs. I had the springs on for about a month but I want to to go lower. I'm undecided between Megan or ksport coils. I want low but don't want to stiff. Any advice?

If you switch over to coils, yes it would look sick. Comfort, you'll lose it. Im on D2 coils and its super smooth on the highway. Driving over bumps and sewage dips... Not fun. If you do decide to swiitch to coils, avoid them as much as possible. Also you go lower, just be prepared to expect your axles to go out quicker. Me I'm making sure I have money on the side just in case my axles go bad. Gotta Pay to play. Also save your Eibach springs if you switch. Just in case one of your coils blow in the future, you have back up.If I were you, get Megan coilovers. I heard they ride well. Ksport i heard mixed feelings about them. Every person has their own view. The best choice is to go with everybody likes. Usually that way works out....

I'm in the same boat as well! I don't have eibachs though, I think I'm just gonna save for coilovers! Rather than spend more money, the Eibachs look good but I like the lower look as well! I think I'm going with Megan Racing too!

i hear you on the sewage dips and the pot holes jbling, a few of my buddies have honda civics dropped on coils and when ever i ride with them its ridiculous how stiff they are, but then again they have skunk 2 coils, which are really stiff. what did you mean by the axle going out, i never heard of that happening, and it sounds expensive. but ill take the risk. now only if they made a rear camber kit for the 7th gen, then it would work out perfectly. i think im going to go with the megans, but i need to get my fenders rolled, cant wait until it starts warming up here in the chi. jbling sick looking 7th gen by the way, what wheel set up do you have. trailer54, the eibachs look good but if you have the sv there is really no difference in ride quality, just more for looks. i went with the springs at first becasue i didnt want to go through the hassle of fender rolling due to rubbing, but im rubbing anyway, so im like screw it im getting coils

Axles do go bad. I really didnt hear anything either until some of my buddies told me im too low and make an axles savings account lol If your in the maxima facebook group, theres a guy named Dean with the lowest 7th gen and he went through a lot of axles already. Our cars werent designed to go really low so expect premature wear and tear. Keep an close eye on them. I inspect them myself when I rotate my own wheels.

For camber kit, the 350Z rear camber kit fits our Maximas. I know a couple people that have them. If your rubbing, I suggest you get a pro to roll your fenders and possibly get thinner sets of tires and stretch.

KSport

- pillow ball uppers and spherical lowers, I like the construction. Very similar to the RS series from D2.

However D2 has more options:
- RS Series: high quality, adjustability for those that want to get low easily, occasional track duty - enhanced handling, pillow ball mounts. This is a FULL coil-over conversion for the rear.
- Circuit Series: the go-fast system for more track minded duty, enhanced spring rates and beefier internals for cooler oil and lighter weights, pillow ball mounts. this is not a full coilover version, springs, struts seperately for the rear.
- Rally Series: inverted oil tubes (lower center of gravity to enhance unsparing wheel weight), smaller body and solid upper mounts. Strict racing in mind (lots of feedback/vibration from the solid upper mounts).

I'd get the D2 Circuit.

So I decided I'm going to hold off for coilovers and get the aam exhaust, front lip and roof spoiler. Have to start working on performance eventually
