If I purchase an Injen Cold Air Intake for my 2011 Maxima, should I also purchase a new mass airflow sensor? Please Advise

From what I've read the Injen intake is pretty reliable. Doesn't trip the CEL. I think you're good to go without buying an MAF sensor.

Thumbs up

installed my Takedas intake in last week and no CEL or probelms. I had my techs take a look at my car and the only thing one of them recommended me to do is a idle re-learn.

Save your money. The stock set-up is the only real cold air intake short of fabbing your own true CAI.

Do you need the stock setup is the only cold air intake the car needs? Like no other would really increase performance? Just want to be sure because I've been looking at them.

Thanks!

I would look into getting a y-pipe to free up some ponies.

^Like 1996blackmax stated a Y-pipe which I have. I also installed a drop in K&N panel air filter and that combo has freed-up a bit more power.
There are a few other things you can do like an Stillen under-drive pulley
and CJX phenolic spacers that are proven mods that can help.

As tempting as it might be, to me it doesn't make a lot of sense to throw a ton of performance mods on this "family sedan".
You reach a point where you'll need to do a tune to really make the most of it. By then your well into four figure$ spending.
IMOP your better off spending money on better tires, suspension, and maybe some body mods.
