Custom Painted Dash and Console

Just painted my console, handles, and dash last week. Came out immaculate. The handles were easy to remove as well as the piece around the radio but that console was a pain lol. I basically took it apart blind and I guess the Lord was on my side because I didn't break anything lol. Let me know what you guys think. I painted them the same color as my car which is Precision Gray.

This is really cool. I like it! How many coats of clear did you need to hit it with to get it that glossy?

That looks great. I've been wanting to do this for a while now. I just been to lazy to actually go take the pieces out of the car and like you I plan to make it the same color as my car, Navy Blue

Yea bro do it. Just make sure you dedicate a whole day to it because it's tedious work.

Good job! How did you go about taking off the part that closes over the cup holder?

Looks good! I eventually want to get rid my wood grain pieces as well. Did you do the back seat pieces, A/C vent, and arm rest cup holder too?

It's actually a piece that snaps on to the part that closes. You just have to pry it off.

I was able to get the outer part off but the cup holder part seen stuck inside the armrest. I think it's glued in idk.

that looks sick, what kind of paint did you use, and any suggestions on what color would look best under the hood with crimson black

speaking of painting, does anyone have any suggestions on how to take off the chrome piece on the trunk, or if someone painted theirs, how did they do it. i was thinking of just taking off the whole trunk and just taping it off. along with the door handles, i want to color match those as well, any suggestions

If you open the trunk there are clips that hold on the carpet. Take those off and remove the carpet. You will then see how to take the chrome piece off. There are like three bolts holdin it on and a orange piece you have to pinch with pliers to remove it. And also I'd go with the color of your car for the engine.
