drl lights with amber light 7th generation
Discontinued from vleds, and they required some cutting to make them fit. Others are available fron jdmtoy, phillips and hella but they are standard DRLs (no switchback) and It is hard to find one with the same brightness as the vleds.

I really want to do that mod.
Unless I'm looking at the wrong application they appear to be on back-order until 8/15?

Anyone one else want to chime in about these are any other recommendations, please do.
Propa thanks but yea they aren't ganna fit 7" is to big and I don't really wanna have to cut it to make them fit.
But I found one that will fit and has the swichback feature and I even email them to check if the size that is stated on the site is correct, they confirmed it was. let me know what yall think and if any of you have a pair of these.

@wakka Those look nice but see a bit pricier! Since the traditional ones are high power, I would assume they should be brighter. What did the site tell you the dimensions were for the regular DRL lights? Which are you getting?
They are referring to an LED that illuminates white but switches to amber once the turn signal has been turned on and back to white once it is off.
6.22 they should fit im ganna measure them again but im still not sure if I wanna buy them but while I was thinking about them I put some halos on and I love them... ill take better pics
Halos? Cool! Definitely take pics! I saw the switchbacks but not the regular LED lights. Did you find those? He posted those in the review but I can't find them on the site.
Thanks for the reply, I thought this afternnon after more reading that might be it so thanks for confirming. I put some of these on my 05 Grand Cherokee to eliminate the orange light. Just never knew that's what they were called.
truthfully I was thinking of getting just the led one with out switch back cause I think its just too much..but if I do go that route the Philips drl 4 they are bright and supposedly they are the ones that make them for the mercedez stock
@ Mike your ride is nice. I'm not normally a fan of halos and blue and all but I like the look of how everything meshes together. How did you get the DRL in your head lights to work? I thought the Canadian version only had those DRL lights in the headlamps?? I would be eager to know because I always wanted that section to be lit.
Cool beans. Do you have a link for the Philips DRL lights? I actually like the lights in the other link you sent that had the review of both the white only and switchback but if Philips has a version of their own that is bright and fits I'll take a look at those as well.
