2009 console lid replacement. HELP!

Hi guys. I bought used 2009 about year and half ago and it had some cracks n console lid. I FINALLY found a replacement on eBay and got it yesterday but I thought it'd be few screws and bam perfect interior again. But it looks like the console has to come out to replace the lid. Has anyone replaced their lid and if so how and where do I start. Btw my tilt motor went out last week and got one if those from Nissan to put on too but I found a Nissan bulletin with pics and instructions for that. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have not done this to my 7th gen, but it wasn't too difficult on my other Maximas. Look too see if there are any screws on the sides near the seats. Feel around for clips, & be careful with wiring harnesses as your pulling it off. Go to www.courtesyparts.com & see if you can find a diagram of the center console so that you can get a better idea of the location of the mounting screws, clips, & wiring.

there are 2 screws behind the front seats (need to move the seats all the way up ) and there are 3 screws under the plate where the shifter is.

I had to replace the cup holder assembly back in the spring and man was it a lot tougher than expected.
Hopefully this help; use page 16-18
