H&R DRM Trak+ Install
H&R DRM Trak+ Install
So I decided to purchase the H&R DRM spacers. I bought 20mm for the front and 25mm for the rear. I installed these on the stock suspension with stock wheels. Only real issue I had was removing the wheels. The tards at the nissan dealership obviously used an impact wrech to put them back on. But other than that it was smooth sailing. Below is a rundown of how they went on.
1. Jack the vehicle up, and of course use all safety precautions.
2. Loosen lugs.
3. Remove the wheel, if it gives you a hard time, use a rubber mallet and tap the tire until it pops off.
4. Use a wire brush and remove any rust and other debris. I did not choose to remove the rotor and paint it. I'll save that for when I buy new ones.
5. Fit the spacer on the hub, making sure it's flush to the rotor hub.
6. Screw on the provided bolts to the original studs. Torque to 80 ft/lbs.
7. Put the wheel back on. Screw the lugs on. I torqued to 83 ft/lbs.
8. Let the car down, and retorque wheels.
9. Test drive and enjoy.
10. BTW, I'm not a mechanic, and these instructions are a guide. It's not my fault if you screw up your car. Also, don't let anyone else install theses for you. It's very easy.
*Pics are not straight for some reason, but you get the hint.
