I think now that you have made some noise about it, that's why they are willing to meet and compensate.. don't let them go easy bro.. you deserve it..

I am confused where to service mine from now on.. just driven 35K :/
True that, Deira it is. I will still wait to see what kind of compensation they're willing to give out. I did service my car outside the agency at 120,000km.

Well you are off then warranty now.. so that's still fine getting it worked outside. My only preference at nissan is because of the warranty still left.. or else seeing the pics u provided I dont wana go back..

I'll demand a full service contract free of charge for another two years with unlimited mileage at one circumstance that the camera will be always running when servicing my car. That's the only way my car is going to the dealership.

Time to contact Nissan corporate and let them know. If they want footage, provide a copy.
If they do nothing but refer you along the same loop, perhaps a call to some local media/news organizations might net some embarrassment and public outrage....
Do not sign any releases or other documents from the dealership that could be perceived as a satisfaction....
Further, maybe it's time to contact an attorney.

Don't worry, I work in the contracting field and my job requires lots of signing. I won't sign on anything. In fact i'll make them send an official document claiming their responsibility. True that, if they fail to cooperate then local news and media is the solution.

I am with you Rafik, I do not care how "natural" it is to sneeze and rummage through ones things. If I paid for a brand new car, it is new because I want things to be fresh, unused, and most importantly clean.

And when you take your car into a dealership, where they charge a premium. You would expect a premium level of professionalism and workmanship. I used to work at a Toyota dealership and something like this was definitely not okay, we were not even allowed to change the radio station or anything for that matter on a customer car, yet alone drive off the property, spray mucus everywhere, leave tissues behind, and go through their personal belongings. Definitely not okay.

I hate it when they mess with my radio station, I'm that picky!

Well..

I've had a meeting today with Arabian Automobiles (Nissan Dubai). They extended their apologies about the incident and clearly had positive initiatives. They offered a service contract of 40,000kms as a compensation for the incident that happened. Also, because my CVT never had it's oil changed, they also offered to replace the CVT with a brand new one with 6 months warranty free of charge. Hence, all my problems were solved.

This is an official 'Thank You' post to Arabian Automobiles and whoever participated in this.

Best Regards, Case Closed!

I saw your other thread about the CVT, and this is certainly VERY good news. Congratulations on everything working out in the end!

I took my car to a dealership and watched the service tech literally smoking the tires going around a turn. I demanded to see the service manager right there and demanded to have the tech fired or I would seek legal actions... I saw him post on facebook complaining about being fired (I went to high school with the tech). Served him right for abusing someone's car. (note this was not my maxima, it was Eclipse back in 2001)
