VDC/Brake light, misfire??

hey I need help. I live in NYC drove to AC for my bday this weekend. Now I on my way back I encounter 3 problems. Note I have a 2009 maxima, almost 58k on the meter. first issue has been happening for about 3 weeks since the last time I drove to AC. When I pull off the VDC light and traction control lights come on and stay on for a while, and might go back off. why is this happening? Also the e brake light comes on for a few seconds when I pull then goes off. any clue why this is happening?

now when I'm coming to a complete stop, my needle goes down to 1k rpm, the closer I get to the complete stops the needles drops below 1k rpm, and the car starts jumping as if the gear is slipping. a friend of mine said it could be a misfire with my cylinder. any clue why this is happening??

any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!!

VDC and slip lights are probably because u have low brake fluid.

hmm ok figured had something to do with the fluids, was really hoping it wasn't my pads or rotors. do I need to use any specific brake fluid for this car?

here is a link to YouTube to see how the car shuts off when slowing down. YouTube messed up the video a little bit.

Anyone with any clue as to why the car keeps hard stoping and sometimes shutting off like it did in the video??

here is another of the car shutting off, this is when I'm in park switching into drive.

Looks like a transmission problem. 09-10 has a CVT warranty of 10 years 120,000 Miles so I'd get it towed to the Nissan dealer and have them check it out

Yeah I heard about that warranty, set up an appointment for next Tuesday, hopefully whatever the issue nissan fixes it without giving me a big deal about it like they always do.

Hopefully they don't because this is the first time I've ever seen this happen to the Max. Good luck buddy

I know that this car is a bit detuned from factory but neither of those seem likely at such low mileage. Your spark plugs should be good for at least 75-100K. Could possibly need a fuel injector cleaning depending on the type of gas you've been running though.

I've only been using premium gas since I got the car in 2012. It's weird that this is just happening all of a sudden.

Yeah very strange. Sometimes parts just fail man. Hopefully Nissan gets everything settled hassle free

Yeah I'm just hoping for the best. I've read a few threads here about the CVT going bad. If that's my case I guess it wouldn't hurt to get a brand new one. Now it's just time to deal with Nissan and the BS they will try and feed me.
