Smoking the fog lights?

There was a set of smoked fogs for sale on eBay but it seems possible to DIY this like you would the head or tail lamps. My fogs are rashed up so I couldn't really make them much worse...plus they make look better in that area because they'll match the other dark trim plus my grey paint.

Anyone have good info on painting the other lights? Prep, number of coats, etc?

Thanks

You can get pre-cut 'smoked' film for your fogs there.

This is where I got my yellow overlays for my fog lights and they have held up for over a year now with no problems.
