Considering stepping up to the 7th gen crown

Hey all. Maximas have been treating me well she far so I am trying to stick with them. I had a 2002se 6sp and still have a 2003 auto. I recently crashed the 6sp and had the option to total or repair. I chose total because it was a beater with plenty of issues as is.

Now I get to step up hopefully. I never liked the 6th gens so I want a 7th gen. Not negotiable! I am likely going to get one with at least 100k miles since I dont like to break the bank with cars anymore (up to 13k seems fair). So the question is obvious. What are the common issues to look for when I check them out?

I will check thout stickies and other threads soon! Thanks for any help

Loose drivers seat base
Vibrating passenger seat
Mirror turn signal malfunction
Condensation in rear lights
Rear defroster doesn't work well
Poor paint, especially the front clip
Poor halogen headlights. Get the HID upgrade.

Good stuff,
Looks
Brakes
Power
Comfort (best seats in da house)
Great rear end design
LED Rear lights
Controls
Stereo
Interior ergonomics

In addition to the above I'd say look for:
Worn wheel bearings
CVT whine
Signs of coolant around the head gasket area

Overall these cars are great!

Agreed, I would have no problem buying a Maxima with over 100k on it as long as the maintaince has been done.

Those issues don't seem bad at all. Great news. Appreciate it.
