Service bulletin and warranty question

I have a 2010 that sometimes feels a bit sluggish off the line, and some days it feels like a rocket ship...I've been curious to get this tsb checked out but I'm out of power train warranty. However i do have the extended 120k transmission warranty, here's the tsb, I think people have had this appliedName: 9125D9E9-936B-4FCE-9EE7-97CCC02ECA41.png

If your dealer is anything like mine, they will only do the TSB if you pay for it. I had my dealer perform the TSB for the front-end knock but had to argue with them about who should pay for it. They said that customers had to pay for all TSB's to be performed, while I said that this is something that they should have caught and fixed during their inspection to make the car Nissan Certified Pre-Owned (I had only owned the car for about two months at that point). He ended up taking care of it no charge, but made it clear to me that I would have to pay for any additional TSB's to be taken care of.

Wow I didn't know that, I thought if the car was out of warranty they can try and charge you. I always thought a tsb was the same as a recall except there is no safety concern to send out notice and also it's up to the customer to make the complaint and dealer determines if tsb applies to them, never knew u would have to come out pocket

I will call my dealer though and see what they say, it's kind of hot and cold at that place...never know what they'll say

That's what I thought too. I had the 120k transmission warranty and also a 2 year bumper to bumper dealer warranty, but he told they would only do recalls for free, not TSB's.

Let me know what your dealer says. I would like to know if mine is screwing me over and just doesn't want to do the work.
