Ac Issue

Ac Issue

Has any posted solving the issue of the automatic climate control ac only working at 60-61 degrees anything above blows hot air I have a 2011 sv, with this issue funny thing my 4th gen never had this issue. Any input would be great !

If I recall I believe someone mentioned it might be the in cabin air temp sensor which is under the steering wheel behind one of the plastic pieces. I believe they said it's easy to disconnect and forget about which may lead to that problem or perhaps it's faulty. Try using the search box to see what comes up.

I have the same issue on my 2010 SV. In the winter, set on 85 would blow cold air but 86 would be hot. Also depended on the day. Sometime 78 would be cold and 79 would be hot.

Same is true in the opposite direction. I may plug in my Autoenginuity and see what its saying. I can read all of the HVAC sensors. Just havent taken the time to do it. Will report back with what I find out.

Of course my problem started when I did a factory data reset accidentally on the stereo (which of course has the integrated HVAC controls). Mine has the Infinity logo on it when I start the car now with different color scheme and a few different settings in there. No idea how to fix it and probably cant without a trip to the dealer....which aint gonna happen.
