She was so good to me

She was, my girl so good to me and it's sad to say goodbye, but I don't think she'll be too madName: CF3F759A-03A6-4C08-A25D-6B9066B8F31B.jpg

Size: 336.5 KBi left her for a fellow friend, a 2014 maxima sv. This is my first brand new car, The 2010 was the first car I lowered and the last, i forgot what it felt like to drive in comfort. I have the technology package so it's got all the bells and whistles. I got more then 10k off the sticker so I obviously couldn't walk away. I test drove the 2016 before this and that thing was insane, just wish I could afford it or had some incentives. But I am a happy man, I went with brilliant silver with black leather, color combo is awesome Name: 762D2442-945F-4ABA-A102-CB9EC691F6CE.jpg

Size: 555.4 KBi went into today expecting to leave in a 2016 but all the rebates and incentives for the 2014s were difficult for me to pass up

Thank you, white was my favorite but I'm in love with this color now, especially with leather interior. I have no plans to modify this car at all, maybe some tint.

Haha I'll forever be team pearl in my heart, but i fell in love with this color combo. I also came out of an s model which basically didn't have much compared to this guy, Now i feel
spoiled

Can someone explain how the red white and yellow work, is that just aux for sound or to stream video? And does the brake need to be applied?

It is like the aux input on your former vehicle. Visit monoprice.com and you can pick up a RCA to 3.5mm cable if you want to have a physical cable plugged into your media device.

Oh ok I wasn't familiar with that, I have the bluetooth streaming and I think the quality is excellent so no need for the aux for now

Ya you got that right with the 14. With the 16 that I drove it was an sl model with the pano roof, and every option. nissan hit a homerun with the interior, first thing you notice is it is quiet as a mouse even with the pan roof, everything just feels solid and well put together. Sitting in the drivers seat you really that feel of being in a cockpit, with the raised center console I goy the feel of safety. I don't know what they called it(I forget what it was called) Im going to call adaptive cruise control. The salesman had me put the cruise to 30mph, then accelerate to the rear end of the car in front me and let off the brake. The maxima then put itself at distance of about 20ft and tailed the car in front of it, speeding up or slowing down to keep the distance from the car in front. long story short u need to sit in one and drive it

I don't know how I didn't notice this when I purchased the car, but I got hosed for the factory splash guards. I know they don't do anything but they add to the style. I'm pissed now I have to order and install them

I don't get it, my s model had them and now my 38k sv does not

Go back say deal off, unless you put them on. Dont you have like a certain time frame to call the bets off legally, in Canada might be a little different.

No where in the thread did I see why you went HAM upgrading your white max, then buy a new one. Was something wrong with it. Or was it just time for a change?

Out of warranty, wanted something new, missed the leather and other amenities, payments are the same, insurance stayed the same, better apr since my credit wasn't the greatest a few years ago, got so much off the sticker etc etc

Very easy to upload pics, get the photobucket app, upload your pics there, copy and paste the image url to here

Very easy, a few areas that didn't get as many coats as the rest and wouldn't peel as easy, I used turtle wax sticker remover, sprayed it on let it sit for a minute and it wipes away clean. And this last time I painted them it wasn't on long. I think most of the products like plasti dip and duplicolor that makes the same product say on the can to remove it at six months and reapply, don't know why though

Also with this car not having the factory guards, would that be the factory's fault? Or the dealerships? I'm in shock something so cheap was left off

Are you going to get a rear spoiler ?

IMO the Spoiler changes the look dramatically

I'm not sure yet, I added one to my 2010 and it certainly did set the car off. It's not much of a difference but I don't know if I want to go drilling holes into this trunk yet since its brand new. This is my first brand new car, even though it's essentially the same as what I traded in I still got the jitters

Kind of amazing that dealers load up a car with every option but leave off a ~$350 factory spoiler.

Your not kidding, I'm not so mad about the spoiler as I am the splash guards. I mean come on my damn 2010 s model had them... I contacted the salesman and let him know I wasn't happy, and he's gonna try to figure something out. You know it's my own fault that I didn't realize this when I was purchasing it. I think I was mesmerized by all goodies on the inside, whether they step up and take care of it or I order them and install them myself I've already tracked down some brand new Oem guards already painted, just waiting to hear back from the salesman

My gfs lease is actually up sept but she wants to test drive some of nissans SUVs since she'll be coming out of 2013 altima sv, if she decides she wants to stick with nissan and by then they haven't stepped up to give me my mud gaurds I'll use that as leverage to close her deal

SWEET! I bought a 2014 too, you can't beat the markdowns they're offering for them right now! I do however plan on modding mine as soon as the warranty expires.

You got that right brother, even though it's the "same" car, coming from the s into an sv is like night and day for me. Congrats on your purchase
