A.C. stoped working

Iwas driving back to work and my ac just stopped working I can turn it on and off but the air is hot not cold at all

Anyone had this problem is it a relay, fuse, or could it be the compressor??

could be just about anything related to A/C system. Visually inspect condenser for impact. Look at the compressor clutch, is it engaging?
I am guessing you got a leak.

Where do i check for the condenser and clutch?

Idont see any leaks and the compressor doesn't make any sound when I turn on the a\c

Heater works and the air comes out but it doesn't cool the air at all.

Condenser is the aluminum radiator in front of actual radiator. Look through the grill and other openings, if you notice a big distortion in the fins, a stone could have hit it and depressurized the system.

A/C compressor pulley has two parts, the outer ring that spins all the time by accessory belt and inner part that drives the compressor via the clutch that activates when compressor is commanded to come on. Turn A/C on in the car, then observe the pulley on the A/C, is the inner part spinning together with outer or not.
Regardless, sounds like you will have to take it to the pros.

I say take the car in for a leak down test AFTER you check to see if it's a fuse or not. And if it is a fuse, you have to ask yourself "Why did this happen"

you won't "see" a leak a lot of time since the pressure inside is greater than it outside and would instantly vaporize when it is open to the atmosphere. You can get a leak down test and a black light to determine a leak.
