Engine Oil Capacity

Engine Oil Capacity
Hi,
In the owner manual which came with the car, the drain and refill with oil filter change is 4.2 Liter, while in the same manual which I downloaded from the net it states 4.8 Liter.
Original Manual
Downloaded Manual
Both Manuals are for 2011 Model, so which one to follow? 0.6 Liter I think is a big difference.

The paper manuals get swapped around alot even though you are super sure that the paper one is the correct one. I would always say electronic trumps because if there is a mistake that goes noticed at least it can be corrected there.

Don't get too hung up on the "capacities" ratings. For example, never run your gas tank dry, even though it says you can add 20 gals....if you do you are in bad shape!
So take these all with a grain of salt and use them as "guides." When you change your oil, NEVER just dump in 4.2 or 4.8 litres. Last I checked, I couldn't buy a .5 liter can of any oil!!! Always add a qt (liter) at a time until you get close (I use 4 qts to get close in my 09) and then, a bit at a time until your dipstick says it is correct. But then, having changed my oil in my 09 64 times so far (every 5000 miles) I have a really good idea on my procedures, time to let drain, angle on the ramps and filter type so I can get close to the mark by "eyeball" now. But even so, I still use the dipstick as the final arbiter (on level ground!)

You were right, I checked my brother's 2013 Max original paper manual and it was mentioned 4.8 Liter. It's obvious now that the manual was updated.
