Rear View Mirror

My 2010 Nissan Maxima is my 4th car and have been driving it since I bought it new. But lately I have noticed that the rear view mirror hinders my view when I am turning or going up a ramp or a hill. Is it just me? I do not think the Maxima give the best view for the driver.

Another problem that I am noticing is that I have to lean forward to see the signal light even though I am stopped right at the line. I think this is the more annoying issue. Anyone have any advice on how to fix this? I am going to try to play around with the seat positioning later today or tomorrow.
