Replacing cabin air filter Maxima 2013

I tried to replace my cabin air filter in my Maxima 2013 but it was not a success. I unscrewed 3+2 screws inside the glove box and opened a cover lid on the side of dashboard. The glove box came out a little bit. It seemed there is a latch that needs to be released. All the videos in internet are for Altima 2009.

I didn't unscrew anything from the glove box. Just get on your back and crawl into the passenger side foot well and look for a small narrow cover, to the left of the glove box about 5 inched long by 3/4 inch wide and remove it, there you will find the filter.

2009 thru 2014 are the same general car in build except for small changes through the years like wheels, head lights and tail light.

I found a cover and it was around 8 inched long by 4 in wide. However I did not find any narrow one.

It's there keep looking. It has one big plastic clip on one end. There is a Utube video on doing this, just google changing cabin filter 2009 maxima.

Exactly as he says. The hardest part is lying on your back to change it. You can try moving the seat all the way back for more room.
