The metal spring clip broke to my fuel door and my door wouldn't pop open like it should have. The part from Nissan is relatively cheap, only $8.65 and it's real easy to replace. You remove the fuel door by removing 2 T27 star screws, work the new clip onto the fuel door hinge and re-install the door. The whole process took less than 15 mins.
