Got a click noise on the front axle

I've got a 2012 premium with 53,000 miles. When I drive away from reversing, pressing the brake pedal results in a click sound. It only happens the first time stopping after stopping in reverse.

The stealership just told me its my transmission making the noise!

How much B#$@¡¿T is that?

Probably something loose in your suspension.

been discussed to death before. There is nothing wrong with your car. I have had the same thing. Come to think of it, I think its stopped, but its completely harmless and super annoying.

The powertrain warranty is 5yr/60k miles for your car. Depending what n when it was put in service you may be covered. The cvt is covered under that as well.

But I doubt that's the problem.

I was just shocked at the stealership jumping to "Its the transmission" in record time.

I have an extended warranty and with my luck of late, this ordeal won't be covered.

I'm positive it's the brake pads in the caliper moving in a way that is not supposed to happen. I thought brake pads have a spring clip when the pad seats in the caliper the spring keeps the pad from moving at all and doubles as the wear indicator.

Moral of my post (to me mostly) is simply avoid that dealer...bummer cause it's 20 minutes from home!

Front suspension noise

I have a front suspension noise also. I heard it back when I bought the car in March of 2014. It is difficult to make the car do it when I want. I had the dealer look at it and they couldn't replicate it. 2 days ago I was back out of a drive way and it soundes more intense. I don't know what to do.
It usually sounds like a click but 2 days ago was more like a metal crunch sound.
