Subwoofer install

I have the bose system in my 2014 is it possible to install subs with the bose system, the reason why I am asking is that I hear the preamp sends out a weak signal to the amp and the amp cuts out.

I installed 2 12" pioneer sub in the trunk with an amp. They are 2400 watts but i run them at 800. I paid around 400$ in total plus install. I think that if you want more base you should consider putting a sub in the back

They just hook it up to the battery up front and I forgot but I also installed a capacitor with the amp. If you want to install a sub that is poweful and the cheapest just buy pioneer amp with sub and the capacitor on ebay or on their website and go to your local electric car shop and install it.

I did this in my 2006 Infiniti M35S with the Bose system and had no problems. I tapped the sub wires for the audio input, as well as the turn on line (whatever that's called). It's the same Bose system in the Maxima but I didn't install it in Maxima, don't plan on keeping it that long. Plus I don't feel like stripping the seats, trunk, and rear deck to dynamat everything like I did in my M35.

Setup:
JL 10W6v3
JL 500/1 Amp (Turned Way Down)
Infinity Reference Tweeters

I really wanted a JL 8W6 but got the 10W6 at an excellent price.
