I own a Nissan Maxima 2013 SV and I am looking to buy HID or Xenon (I do not know which one is better in terms of the light intensity and white light) headlight and foglight bulbs. I have understood that I need a kit including the bulbs and ballast. Any recommendation? What is the installation procedure? Does it need the front bumper come out?

 

Go with Morimoto LEDs for your foglights.. bumper needs to come off to install but it's worth the work...They have a kit on their site that is specifically made for our 7th gen max...plus I have them myself. They are plug and play...no ballast needed. For HID bulbs...Go with Phillips...best in the business IMO.

 

I went with Morimoto XB HID 6,500K low beams & Morimoto XB LED for the fogs. Both from the Retro fit Source. Love the color and brightness of the HID's. You can't go wrong with Morimoto, highest quality.

 

man i blew it just got LED low beams and man they not as bright as i was told. Going down the road light shine wasnt bright at all.

 

Thanks for your reply. I was wondering if you could provide me with the link or the full specification of both fog light and head light as well. I was reading the review in amazon for Morimoto LEDs, which recommends to "Make sure you buy decoder, load resistor , otherwise they will hyper flash, its not included with bulbs you have to buy them.". Do I need to buy them as well?
Do I need to buy ballast for headlights? Do I need to buy ballast for headlight as well?
