Softer ride possible?

Hi there, got a 2012 maxima and just recently decided to ride it out vs trading it in. The only issue I have is that at 140000km stsrting to notice that the bumps in the road are becoming more and more noticeable. It’s the sport version so it is more stiff but is it possible to switch out the springs or shocks for something more smoother?

You may need to have the bushings checked. There could be excessive play there causing some clacking and knocks.

I learned that the struts for this vehicle are junk that might be your issue. I had a 2014 and I think anything that could of gone wrong with the suspension did. Like Scorsone said those bushings are junk also al nissan vehicle have this problem.
