Paint oxidation

My 7th gen has been developing oxidation on the roof primarily. It’s two bucket washed weekly frequently waxed and still has crap paint. Meanwhile my 20 year old civic that bakes in the sun barely washed has better paint anymore else experiencing this?

The silver paint on my 09 SV is still in great shape all over the car. I can't tell from the pictures if is just the clear coat failing or the paint. Have you tried to use a little polishing compound to see if that will bring it back to life?

Yup last month, just came back even worse now think I may have to get her wrapped. I think it’s just my car the paint seems so soft and sensitive.

Original paint, or has it been repainted?

Id look into a good detailer first.

If the clear coat isn't failing, I'm sure that paint could be corrected.

That's super weird my max is black, and I use waterless car wash right now, and I wax it, etc. My paint still looks great.

I use meguires polish and then I and wax. The polish made a big difference in the application of the waxy no swirls, and it buffed out scratches pretty well. I had to experiment. The best thing I found to wash the car is rainx waterless car wash, and I used their spray wax every couple of days. The reason I went to that brand is that I used to go to a car wash that used weather x and that stuff helped a lot. My paint looked even no swirls. Nissan paint is cheap but you have to be on top of it year round.
