Overheating

My 09 is overheating changed thermostat but only overheats on hot days but can’t turn on air it will overheat any ideas?

Have you recently had any work done to the cooling system prior to you changing the thermostat? Are the fans coming on?

Check your coolant level too! After the thermostat change you could have an " air bubble"
