Looking to swap out head unit (2011 SV)

Hey guys, I just picked up a 2011 SV with Bose speakers, color screen without nav, and I'm looking to upgrade the system a little. I would like to throw in a double din unit but I can't find any dashkits for this model.

I'm not totally sure where I want to put the new screen, but if I put it up top where the old screen is, I'm going to lose my temperature display. And if I put it below, where the radio controls are, I'll need a new faceplate, but I can't find one.

Does a dashkit exist for this car? Metra doesn't seem to have one...
Also, if I'm replacing the headunit, would you recommend replacing the Bose speakers as well?

Any help and ideas will be greatly appreciated, as I searched but could not find much info on this. Thanks!

hope someone posts an answer too! I just bought a 2010 yesterday and was shocked that I can't stream BT music!...although there is an AUX input in the glove box that uses RCA jacks to 3.5mm headphone type plug so I can at least play my Spotify tunes from phone.

We are zhit out of luck on this one here.

I've the 09 with color screen no nav. Been researching for over 6 months now and the closest I've seen people get to is by going towards the nav option route, still Bluetooth audio isn't part of that package, though I may be mistaken.

But long story short, the furthest I've seen is a guy here buying the full main harness for a navigation packaged maxima to install, along with all the navigation components and modules. in the end, everything plugs up but the car won't start. Then there aren't any resolutions stated in the org. It's a brave trial, and I wish there had been more where that went.

In aftermarket sources, I've searched both North America and Asian markets. Back few years ago, there were some kits to do the conversion, but they no longer supply those anymore. Ones I've seen has it where the climate control buttons has been re-made into a cheaper looking setup, and the bracket has a double din slot that you can put in whatever you like. Of course you'll lose your steering wheel audio control functions unless you go through some aftermarket module and program it to work. If you do your search, you'll probably find it, but it'll say out of stock or something of that sort.

I'm in the same boat to see who has a perfect solution. In my ideal world, I'd like to keep the color screen and the climate control. Audio I can sacrifice because I'm ready to lose everything and get a new unit that has both nav and bluetooth audio capabilities.

Try the Metra 99-7633. Double din dash kit with replacement A/C and radio control buttons.

Thanks, Iv'e seen that Metra kit, but imho it looks cheap and it is very expensive. I am looking for something like replacing cars audio/menu controls right under the screen with the OEM controller that has the climate controls, this way I can remove my CD player along with the attached climate controls on the lower dash. No clue if this is possible....

I just installed it last night. Its a lot of work, but it turned out great. Added more options on the factory screen menu too.
