Wiper problems

1st of all no TSB's on this problem. Having intermittent problem w wipers stopping while in intermittent mode. I purchased this 2014 Maxima about 6 weeks ago w 50k miles on it. The wipers have stopped 3 different while on int.mode and they don't start back until about 1 min later. Seems to only happen if I change setting to faster or slower delay. Any answers???

It could be the wiper blades are just going bad. I have a 2014 Maxima with about 55K miles on it, and I bought some Bosch Icon wiper blades 28A for left front and 17A for right front. If it's the wiper blade motor it may cost $99 at advance auto and you'd get $50 back for the core charge of the old one. It may not be that drastic and may be something simpler. I'd try bringing it to a Nissan dealer and get them to look at it before I tried replacing it myself. I hope this helps.

Were you able to get this fixed? I have the exact same issue and wondering if it turned out to be the motor or the switch.

Can't say for sure but if the motor works fine in low and high speed modes the motor is probably fine. I would suspect the switch, but there are other possible causes of this problem such as the BCM.
