wiper blades not going all the way down.
not really sure how to even google this problem.. so figured i'd put a thread here...
the prob:
wipers turn on and work fine.. then when turned off, they go all the way down, but then come back up about 1 or 2 inches and rest there.
its not really a huge deal, but i'd like to figure out how to fix it.. its kinda annoying and slightly in my field of view..
ideas on what it would be?
the wiper motor maybe?t

it happens to me, and it was old wiper blades, and it happened a couple weeks after the new blades but once worn in , it eventually went away, i also use a silicon treatment on the windshield for the blades I get (PIAA) , think rain-x, and i think that helped too. i know it doesnt seem like the cause of the problem, but i had the problem you had and it was a lil annoying, but after all that i kinda just went away.
mine was stopping half way in the middle of the stroke as well (blades super old etc)

Google auto fills well. I entered "Nissan Maxima wipers not going …" and Google offered "... all the way down". Click that option and the third hit is advice from a Nissan Mechanic, https://www.justanswer.com/nissan/4o...ge-nissam.html
