My kit came with a heavy duty relay that is hooked up to the battery. I also installed a pair of capacitors. Wasn’t sure if I needed them but better to have and not need them need and not have .

Do you have oem HID or halogen like I did?
How much did you pay? Just trying to get an appox cost is all.

Did they have to drill a firewall hole?

It was a lil pricey for install but that’s because the place I took it to is the best. When I open the hood,I didn’t want to see any wires or ballast zip tied to a motor mount. So I paid $350 for install. No drilling into the fire wall though. They did have to do some wiring for the fog lights though.

The fog kit I bought has a separate inside switch to turn on my fogs bc I don't have the option on the stalk. So power needs to be run inside. Thats why I was asking.

That price was my ballpark estimate, I was thinking $300. Thanks bro!

Picked these up today. Guy had them sitting around for almost a year. I thought oem rotors were big but these girls are huge.

Love those style rotors..what brand are those if I may ask? Are they OEM style or like oversized? Any thing extra needed to get them to fit?

These are powerstop off the evolution line. So they are great for daily drivers but have enough bite for a semi aggressive driver.

These will not go on any oem maxima unless you have the akebono big brake calipers. Our oem rotors are 12.6 inches, these are 14 inch rotors. I have the akebono calipers,I will be installing them in a couple months when the weather starts to warm up.

Me personally,I’m not a fan of drilled rotors because of the possibility of cracks, but was too good of a deal to pass up.

But you can easily find drilled and slotted rotors for oem size. Everybody and they momma sells em

so I’ve been holding off buying these for 2 weeks now because I simply can’t figure out what offset to get. I’ve tried all these offset explanation videos etc. I know I 19s in the front with a width of 8.5 and 19s in the rear width 9.5. But that’s all I know.

Can anyone recommend an offset? I’d like it to be as flush as possible with the nice concave look. Pretty much like the nismo wheels look like on our maximas

hahahahaha I feel the same way. I probably won’t put them on until mid March or first week of April due to me being in NY. Supposed to get Tuesday and I can remember a few times NY getting blasted with a blizzard in March. Which is fine though because I still have to order brake line, banjo bolts. Still waiting to get the tinits done alone with wrapping all the chrome parts.

Now when the y pipe gets here on Monday.... yeah don’t think I’m gonna wait til April to put that on lol. Then again, perhaps I should. The amount of salt my town dumps on the roads is insane

Custom as in made just for me? No. Definitely don’t have that kind of money. It’s made by Adam at jemini power performance. You can find him on fb under that name. Don’t know if he does anything besides gen7. He was gonna make headers for our 7s but couldn’t drum up enough takers so it wasn’t worth it. I’ve heard it on our gen7/ and it’s sounds great. Definitely a solid price and has a decent warranty, although warranties are only as good as the company that backs it up so we shall see.

I will definitely do before and after vids though

Nice. How many did you start off with?

I wanted to put it on in before I go back to work Thursday night but we had a damn snowstorm.

let me know how that NEO works out
Well i have the NEO up and running great and i have been tuning it... Maybe if you decide to get one we can discuss our tunes!!! Currently i am completely stock other than pulling the snorkel off the intake. I will be adding an AEM dry filter drop in soon. I think i like that Y pipe you have. i just joined the group on facebook. Just wondering how much was the Y pipe? Also i would like to hear how your ride sounds after the install on stock exhaust. I have a fully built speed6 with a straight exhaust and i don't want this car to be TOO loud. deep and throaty ok but not loud... Keep up the good work and keep me posted...

I paid 380 shipped for the y pipe. I haven’t installed it yet because either it’s too cold out, raining or snowing. Supposed to get a foot of snow Sunday,so yeah...

I will definitely let you how it sounds. I’m not going after anything crazy exhaust wise. I just want a nice subtle growl at idle and a subtle rumble when driving. That’s why I’m just doing the ypipe.

What’s a ballpark area price for installing lowering springs? The shop I use said about $550 which I thought was kinda high. Is that high or just about right

Finally installed the eibachs. Nice subtle drop, will look better once I put the 19s on. Also I know the springs will start to settle more after a couple days and some driving
