Ordered new rotors from r1 concepts. The rotors I got from autozone(duralast gold) developed and bad vibrations when braking at high speeds( anything above 60 got really bad vibrations. Really pissed me off to have new brakes and bad wheel shake under braking. So I just bought new ones

Do you plan on upgrading the shocks since you're lowered on the Eibachs? Also, what made you decide getting springs over coilovers?

Mad of right now no plans to change the shocks. The ones on there now are in great condition. Although lowering a car does put additional stress on the suspension it’s not like some people make it seem. This car is a daily driver. Nothing crazy,no autocross no racing so for now the stock shocks are fine.

As far a springs vs coil overs. Every car that I’ve owned that I’ve modified I’ve used eibach springs for a few reasons. 1 it’s cheaper. 2)I don’t have the time or patience to sit there adjusting and trying to dial in the coils. 3) I live in NY. The roads here terrible. Potholes galore. The roads have lots of dips and hills. To me the eibachs lower it enough for me. I don’t need the tucked look and it isn’t worth me bottoming out once a day.

Just my my personal opinion and many disagree some will agree.

Kool. Thanks for the explanation. I don't own a Maxima yet but I'm looking for a 2014 SV now to replace my Jeep. I'm glad the OEM shocks can hold up. I've had the Eibach Pro-Kits on my previous '08 Honda Accord & I had them on my current '14 Grand Cherokee. The OEM struts

on the Grand Cherokee blew from the Jeep being lowered so I raised the Jeep back up on the OEM springs & Bilstein struts. LoL. I live in NY too which is why those struts blew. 🙄 Here's a pic of my Jeep when it was lowered on the Eibachs.

Less then a week after I installed and after following the break in procedure I’ve had severe steering wheel vibrations when braking above 60mph.

Man I thought it was gonna be smooth sailing for you after I saw that set up. Goodluck with this one keep us informed, that car is looking nice I haven't done any mods to mine I'm keeping her as is, Only thing I did was tint my windows. Imo these cars look awesome as is and ofcourse look even better when their all done up!

Thank you good sir! Yeah man,I thought so too. I probably could just take the rotors off and have them cleaned with flex hone or bring them somewhere for resurfacing. Scrub the pads in case they are glazed but honestly I don’t have patience for things like that anymore. If I’m gonna spend 100 bucks to get brakes resurfaced etc I might as well just scrap them and spend money on what I hope is a better setup.

20mm for the front 25mm for the rear. These are so I can put the oem wheels on for the winter to clear the calipers and make the wheels more flush

Got them from z1 Motorsports. The 20mm are 109 but were on sale for 80. Paid 88 with shipping. Same goes for the 25mm. They are actually still on sale. But 88 now instead of 80. Still beats 109 though.

Supposed to bolt right up. Some people get longer wheel studs. I’m almost certain I won’t need to do that. Usually only have to do that when you have aftermarket wheels.

Haven’t posted in while, haven’t done much to max buuuuut tried to put the oem wheels back on with the spacers to clear the calipers. I should have got the spacers with extended studs. With the spacer, the oem studs just leave me with very uncomfortable feeling. The main reasons spacers fail is either because they are cheap or because the lugs don’t have much to hold on to. If I were to put these on,I might be able to get 4-5 turns before the lug is tight. That’s asking for trouble.
So now I have to wait and order longer studs

The answer for the shorter studs...extended lug nuts. Did a test fit and seems to work great. Was gonna put them all on today but my little one is sick. So I’ll wait til the weekend
