Rear deck speakers not working

I have a 2011 max s. My rear deck speakers do not work as in no sound. I checked all the fuses and even plugged in a different speaker and nothing. Anyone got a clue why this would be. I’m not sure if they ever worked either

Could it be something as simple as the Fade settings in your headunit being set to only supply the front speakers? If you have a multimeter check and see if you have any DC power being supplied to the speaker. If you don't have a reading it could mean a wiring issue. Yours probably isn't the Bose system so I don't think you have a separate amp, but double check if you have one on the lid of your trunk to make sure it's functioning. You might want to consider taking it to a car stereo installer to further diagnose before you start tearing apart your interior.

It does have an amp. I put fade to the rear and bass all way to+5 still nada. I have changed door speakers to kicker comp. so I plugged old factory speaker in and those didn’t work either. I checked audio fuses all fine. I put a tester on it it’s not getting power to the amp. That’s weird bc all other speakers work n they are all running to the amp.

Not sure if you have accessed the FSM to help you troubleshoot but here is a link. Do you have the stereo with Bose or without. They both use amps but the connections are different. The first thing I would check is connections to the amp.

AV.pdf page 55 monochrome display without Bose
AV.pdf page 140 color display with Bose

It doesn’t have the Bose system in it. I looked up the FSM and looked at the wire diagram from the head unit to the amp. Also checked connections under the hood where the fuse box is. Everywhere was good it all had the right amount of voltage and continuity. After days of following wires n being a contortionist fitting in the trunk it all boiled down to the amp was not putting out power to the “subs” aka 6x9’s so for time being until I get a new one I just hardwired the 6x9’s to the inlet wires so they all are working and what a big big difference it is. I do not think they have ever worked so the previous owner probably blew it. The front door speakers were blown when I got it n the rear door speakers sounded pretty good but I personally like loud music so I had to upgrade.

So are there aftermarket amplifiers available to substitute for this poor piece of equipment.
Seems like there have been multiple failures of these amplifiers. I own a 2014 SV Bose w/nav not even 16K on the car yet. I see no reason for the part to fail. and I doubt the speakers have died on me.

At first I was able to take a wrench or lightweight hammer and tap on the speaker from the trunk eventually that's not working also I then noticed that when that rear deck speaker went out the two speakers in the back doors went out at the same time they must be connected
