Running amp and sub to stock radio

Not sure if there is a thread for this already and if so just point me in the right direction and I will remove this one.

Looking to run a amp and subwoofer to my stock radio in my 11'.... obviously there is already a stock amp for the Bose system and removing the stock to to put in a aftermarket head unit will require a rebuild of the dash....plus the Bose is more then satisfactory for highs and mids. Have read a few different things on how to do it. Was wondering if anyone else here has experience with it and could throw some pointers my way. Thanks in advance fam!

ps... accidentally put this in the new comers thread. My apologies! Didn't realize that's where it was posting to! Deleted and reposted here! Thanks in advance for any help!

Very easy to do. Did it on my Pathfinder w/ Bose.
- Run power as you normally would
- For remote- either tap into fuse or the remote wire on the amp
- Since there are no RCA jacks, you'll need a line output converter, which you can either tap into the speaker wires coming out of the amp or tap directly into the speakers themselves.
And that's it. Done.
Just keep in mind, while it will sound pretty good, an aftermarket head unit will sound 100x better...

You can probably google the amp schematics to help figure out the wiring.

I used wire taps similar to these instead of splicing any wires.
