Shocks and struct replacement 2009 maxima

I’m looking into replacing my front passenger and driver shocks and strut on my 2009 maxima. They are blown out and I need to replace them
as soon as possible. Any recommendation on where I can buy the right parts for a good price. Instead of going through the dealer or a mechanic that may charge much more. I also need to replace one of my cv axle on my passenger. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Shocks are in the rear, you only have struts up front. If you've never done this before, be sure you have someone there with you that either has experience or can at minimum help you out. It's not an easy job. You'll have to jack up and get the car on stands, then suspend the suspension, but then support so it doesn't drop out when you disconnect the strut. You can topple the car off the stands if you didn't pick the right places under the car to put them. If you aren't planning on compressing the springs and reusing them, that's good. Its the most dangerous part of the job. Get you some coil-overs or essentially a full strut/spring assembly it's just a bolt up at that point. But your experience level getting to work on the car needs to be there, because if you've never turned wrenches this may not be a project to start with.

Echoing MadMax07SL. If you have never used a spring compressor (or even if you have) it can be very dangerous. I did mine a few years back (before there were aftermarket full strut/spring assemblies and I actually had to use two spring compressors to get the spring compressed enough. I got the struts and a the right CV from RockAuto (I do NOT know if they now have the complete strut/spring unit but the monroe's I got from them are still good)
