Hey y’all , just started getting this engine noise, I suspect it’s the sign of a worn belt? Doesn’t sound too familiar to me, lookin for any thoughts as to what it may be. Also my AC stopped blowing cool air a few days ago, not sure if it’s related or coincidence. Any help is appreciated.

 

I'd say the compressor pulley is probably making that noise. Sounds external, and as you mentioned the AC stopped working.

Hey guys thanks for the replies. Got a question, is this something that could seize up if not fixed soon? It’s already been over a month and I was gonna wait it out over the winter but if I’m pressing my luck then I’ll get it done before it’s full blown winter weather.

You ever get this figured out? I just started having some AC issues and doing research on it since I've never had AC issues on any car before.
