Radio problems

So I just tried to remove the stock radio from my 2014 Nissan Maxima S yesterday and we did everything correctly, according to specific directions. When we reinstalled it, the radio no longer turns on and the temperature controls no longer work. The screen above the radio that displays all the radio information and temperature information now does not display anything about the radio, its blank. And the temp is stuck at 75 degrees and in my state this time of year, I need to be able to control the defrosters. We checked all fuses, made sure all harnesses were plugged in correctly, even used a scan tool on the vehicle and cannot figure out the problem. Someone please help me!

I would take a very close look to make sure all the connectors are in the proper place and seated properly. Try removing it and reinstalling it again. If you installed a connector improperly it could have blown a fuse.

I just picked up a 2009 Maxima which has this same issue. Hopefully I didn't buy your car, JDUNN. LOL

Fuses seem to be fine. Does anyone have advise as to a leading cause? Heat is on when the car runs but I have no control, no radio or temperature display....

Did you disconnect the neg battery terminal before you started with the radio?

No. I’m not sure what you’re suggesting? Please elaborate.
