2013 Maxima Charging Issue

I recently purchased this Maxima & am having a charging issue. I was only getting about 12.8-13 v out of the alternator, so I replaced it with a used unit from my local wrecking yard. Was getting 14.2 out of the replacement unit, so I thought all was good. One day later, starter cranks slow after driving throughout the day. Checked the voltage, only getting 13v. Either I'm just very unlucky, & got a bad replacement, or there's something else going on here. There are no aftermarket accessories attached to this car. Completely stock in every way. I'm a former Pro Mechanic/Shop Owner, but haven't worked on many vehicles newer than 2008, & no newer Nissan vehicles at all.
Thanks!

Your battery is toast. What is the resting voltage and chemistry?
