Relocating push to start button

So I’ve been thinking for the past couple days about moving my push to start behind the gear selector (kinda like the eighth gen but a little different) thingy and was wondering if anyone’s done it. I don’t think it would be that hard jus make some wires longer and drill some holes and I’m good. Jus don’t know what’s I do about covering up the hole that’s there.
