Bluetooth not working

Just bought a 14 maxima sport with Navi. The Bluetooth is not working at all. On the settings screen the words “Bluetooth” “phone” are greyed out. The phone button by the Navi screen does not work and neither does the phone button on the steering wheel. Where would the Bluetooth module be located?

Assuming you used the procedure for turning the Bluetooth on and off as indicated in your manual, here is the location.

Those options are greyed out for me. I cannot even access that menu. Also, the diagram you posted is for a system without the Navi. But I looked in that location anyways and there’s nothing beside the amp like in the picture. No sign that even was in that place. I think I read somewhere that the Bluetooth module may be behind stereo control panel. Possibly connected to the stereo itself. Anyone know?

For future reference for anyone searching this same topic for help, after research and digging I have figured out that my Bluetooth module is actually integrated into the a/v control unit (the actual stereo). In order to fix this issue the entire needs to be replaced. Which can be expensive. So I’ll just live with it or maybe down the line buy an aftermarket separate Bluetooth module.

Just get one of these if you want a cheap alternative. Worked great in my old car.
