Post P0175 & p0172

Hey,

I have a 2012 Nissan maxima SV with 280k miles. Its in great condition and has always run great (Engine original and tranny replaced 123k). Upon returning from Toronto to Atlanta I had the catalyst converter and Y pipping changed out along with O2 sensors. Just prior to that I replaced the PCV valve and hose but the check engine light is only showing codes P0172 & P0175. I noticed that the PCV hose is collapsed when idle or in drive with the throttle. Any one can tell me what may be the issues?

Well, I will take a shot. It is possible whomever change the sensors and Catalytic converter (I assume the one by the radiator) put the wrong sensor in the wrong place. Also, the hose collapsing? Sounds like either the wrong PCV valve or a really thin hose (I have to admit I have never seen this) The code(s) indicate a rich condition. Ya really need to figure that part out but as I said, if they started after the trip to Atlanta, I suspect the wrong sensor in the wrong place.
