I have a leak on my 09 maxima

I have a leak on my 09 maxima

I get a 09 maxima, (mechanic special) says it have a new water pump, but the car was incomplete, missing the alternator, thermostat and ac compressor, I install de thermostat and all the hoses and still leaking, it looks like the leak start back to the thermostat, any ideas? Y doble check the thermostat, sorry if my English is not good thank you very much

Well, if you are absolutely sire you imstalled the thermostat housing and gasket correctly (I say this as sometes, people dont remove all the old gasket, dirt and oil from both surface) torqued the bolts correctly, then I would be very suspect of the hose. If the hose and clamps are good, you may have a cracked housing
. Please let us know what you find.

I found it

All was good but in February was a very bad weather, it was freezing and I found a water plug out I’m not sure if that’s the name but now I mes to figure out how to change that plug, any ideas?

Doing it while the engine is installed will be fun...you need to remove a lot of "stuff" to get good access to the freeze plugs. But once you do, this you tube is pretty good

thanks for the video, now I have a better Idea to change the plug, but I need to take de head off to change it, that’s bad haha
