Ambient Temperature Sensor calibration

Can the ambient temperature sensor be recalibrated?

Mine (2009 Maxima S) works but is giving a reading that is approximately 8-10 degrees lower than the actual outside temp. It use to be spot-on :-(

There is nothing in the owners manual about the calibration of the temp sensor, so I imagine it can't be done in the normal sense. You could try disconnecting your battery for 30 minutes, that might reset it.
