I got a deal on a set of 350Z rims, so I had them blasted and powder coated dark grey. I put them on the car, but I forgot that my car has a TPMS system and of course my light came on. I found a set for Nissan's on eBay for less than $40 dollars, but I don't want to go to the dealer to get them programmed. I called a few tire shops near me, one of them wouldn't program customer parts and the other said it would cost $100+ dollars. I didn't pay that much when I replaced all four with programming on my F150 yrs ago. What is a reasonable amount to pay to have them programed? Thanks.

Very hard question to answer, as there are too many variables.​ What good would it do you if I told you $10.00 a wheel?

A "reasonable" amount to me or to you may not be what a tire shop charges. Their definition of "reasonable' may be different.

You will have to pay the market price for your area.

100 bucks seems to be a good price considering all the work involved. Hell, that's only 25 a rim. Getting out of a car repair shop with less than a 100 dollar bill, you are doing good.

 

The week befote last, I had all my tpms sensors replaced, tires rotated and balanced . Reaaonable price? I dont know but total was a bit over $400.

Now in your case, if you have already got them installed, tires mounted and balanced, i would consider the $100-$150 acceptable.

on the other hand, i noticed Amazon has a current deal on an autel 501 for $160 so if you do want to switch to other wheels, not a bad price to invest in a tool that can do the job now and in the future.

I dropped my car off at my local Good Year and they installed and programmed the sensors for $70.56 cent. It would have been cheaper if I could have remembered to ask for the military discount.
