I apologize in advance if there was a thread about this I scrolled and didn't see anything...

I have a 2010 SV with a ton of options. Nav and touch with XM, heated steering, fog lights, you know. Super fancy. Well the transmission is done now with 231,xxx on it. I've driven her over 100,000 miles and byfar the nicest car I've ever owned. Well my heart has been set on something as nice as her but funds at Christmas didn't allow so I settled for a 2013 S with a new transmission and 140,xxx on the motor. I hate the radio. I want to replace the outdated optionless head unit out with my nice 2010 SV touch screen. Is this possible? How many things can be replaced in the 2013 with parts from my 2010, if any?

 

I would think the radio would be interchangeable but have you checked to see if the CVT from the 2013 would work in the 2010?

 

My son wrecked his 2013 maxima S. We bought a 2010 SV parts car and we plan to move the leather seats and he hopes the radio. Did you have any luck finding info out on if the 2010 will work?
