FIL couldn't drive any more so we inherited his '13 Maxima. It's a base model, with 46K on the clock, garage kept, so the damn thing is mint. I'm a car guy, we have a Honda, Elantra, Ford and Toyota, so why not a Nissan to round things out. After reading about the CVT my first inclination was to get rid of it, but I changed my mind after when I looked at the used clap traps people are trying to unload with over 100K. My daughter will need a car for school, so we figure this should fit the bill.
Plan is to do a CVT fluid/filter change and add a new head unit with backup camera.
I was surprised to find that the hood was aluminum, found that out when I tried to attach my magnetic shop light and it fell on the engine.
Anyway, I'll probably stop back from time to time for advice and tips.
