Nissan maxima ad!! Woot

It's so depressing..

Did the dad die in a car accident?

Tad too much GTR!!! Maxima was like a tiny second

@1:27 - What a interesting rear end design. Is that a spoiler already on the trunk?

I like the rear-end. It looks quite large on the side shots..

Look @1:17. Car has a bit of a upscale Infiniti vibe with the funky design, even has the door dent thingy

I did love that commercial! I wish they had an Infiniti one or at least incorporated Infiniti into the Nissan one.

Instead of boomerang headlights, it has boomerang tails! It's like the Infinity Q50 on roids!

Can't wait to see what the interior looks like. I hope they're not going the touch screen route a la tesla or Infinity Q50...

Commercial was cool. The Maxima looks great though. Interested to know more about specs though.

Looks like that Dad has good taste in a car

Uhh, I'm actually disappointed.

I was happy as ever that the Pats won, but seeing that commercial has confirmed the following for me:

1. I love the new Maxima looks from the front
2. I don't mind the rear end, it's OK....
3. But I definitely, most surely don't like the side view and it just looks huge to me. IDK

Will have to judge more in due time

Really? All is forgiven for a lonely childhood when the absentee father shows up in an over-styled family sedan.

Heck of a message.

Lmao. You can look at it that way. I think what they tried to do was show how the racecar driver dad would show up in something like a Maxima when it's family time.

Of course, many people aren't gonna see it that way

I like it alot, looks great! Just need some specs and to see it in dark grey before final judgement. Hoping the NISMO verison is true.

Commercial was kind of sad. But car looked nice. No specs but implications for sporty nature seemed spot on.

It's a good song. The commercial was feeding off of the song, fooling people in the meantime. But if you're going to spend 12 million on a commercial, you might as well make it worthwhile and let marketing pukes do what they do best.

Seems car designers are also marketing pukes these days. Swirly wavey designs that serve no purpose other than to show that you have the newest car.

It looks pretty decent, but it's non functional other than to do the above. Which is lame.

Rochester, I agree. Not attractive at all, and the real world for the most part agrees. Look at what some are saying http://backfires.caranddriver.com/fo...-maxima?page=3

Look at the bright side.
