19" SR Wheels on SL or Platinum?

Hello all. I am interested in purchasing an SL or Platinum, but prefer the 19" wheels on the SR. Does anyone have an idea how the SL or Platinum will ride 19's and if this swap is even possible? Thanks.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. It's essentially the same car no matter the trim. The SR has a stiffer suspension but still rides smoothly on the 19s, so I'm sure it'll be even smoother on the SL or Platinum.

The only question is how easy it will be to have a dealer provide an SL or Platinum with those wheels and how much it will cost. The black 19s cost $1400 without tires, so I'm assuming the stock 19s will be somewhere around there or less. Tires will be around $300 a piece.

Short answer: ask your local dealership and get in touch with their parts department.

If you do this and decide on getting the silver 19's, can you let me know how much the dealer charges for those? I got the black 19's on my SR, so I ended up with an extra set of the silver 19's and might decide to sell them later, but not sure how much I should ask for them.

Can you please post pics of the black and silver 19's? Thanks.

I'm in the same boat as you, but I think I'll hang on to the stock 19s for a while, as I really like them. Maybe I'll swap back and forth.

I have an extra set that I am willing to sell. They are in perfect condition. For those interested, where are you located?

If you are willing to spend that amount on stock wheels, why not go aftermarket??

I think the SR wheels fit perfectly on the maxima like the older Audi A8 had some similar wheels that fit perfectly with that model. I'm still looking at aftermarket but I'll probably come back to those SR rims in the end. As I get older I find myself loving a sorta stock look, I guess u do mellow out as we get older.

I loved the SR wheels from the first early Nissan pre-release teaser photos. But, since I was locked in on the Platinum, I decided to 'like' the non-SR wheels also. And I have gradually come to 'like' the non-SR wheels. But I still think the SR wheels look better on this car.

What are the specs on the misano's? Width and offset. Thinking of swapping my stock tires on those if thr same size instead of painting my 19sr's black. Then I can sell the stock ones.
