A-pillar interior trim clips?

I am thinking about getting a dash cam and was going to run the cable for it tucked under the headliner to the passenger door, down the A-pillar, under the glove box and then along the center console. Does anyone know if the interior trim along that A-pillar is simply held on by clips and it can be removed by simply pulling on it? I know that's how it was in my 2008 Altima, and the piece looks the same, but it took some substantial force to work it free and wanted to check to see if anyone else had experience here before I gave it a shot.

Thanks.

Some people here mounted a radar detector to the bottom of the rear view mirror and then tapped the power source from the back of the mirror. If the camera is small enough it could be mounted that way. Saved a lot of time, wire runs and panel removals.

^ I wish there was an easier way to tap into the mirror's wiring harness. Do you know of an extender or some sort that would prevent me from having to splice wires?
