AEM/K&N/Stillen Cold Air Intakes

Has anyone installed any of these intakes? Adds 13-15HP, most HP/$

Will not add 13-15hp with the hood closed sucking hot air. Skip the hot air intake.

I normally feel the added benefits of this bolt on modification specially during acceleration and driving at high speeds

It's in your head. If placebo is what your looking for go right ahead.

I agree, many times it is due to the increased sound that makes you feel like you might be accelerating faster. Also, any performance difference would only be noticeable at full throttle, and I would argue that you can't feel a real difference unless you have about a 30 hp increase. Most hot air intakes do hurt performance as you stated.

I threw in a drop in filter and called it a day. Every oil change I pull it out, hose it off and reinstall. Done.

AEM Intake

I installed AEM intake, more sound, looks nice, less power on low end. I went back to stock intake with high flow filter.
