I still havent came across any Brake or Exhaust upgrades for the 2016. I did buy a set of the MGP brake capilar covers. the quality looked ok but I was really not comfortable with the mounting stystem and sent them back. the clips hold them on secure but nothing keeps them from moving left to right I was concerned about rubbing the inside of the wheel so I sent them back. Stillen tells me that they are working on the Axle/Cat back system but have seen nothing yet. If anyone out there knows of any upgrades available please post them.

Are you looking for a Big Brake Kit or just upgrade on Rotors?

Can you post pics? Want to see how to Brembo's look. How does the active noise cancelling do with the exhaust?

I was looking to replace the calipers....have you found anything? Both Brembo and AP told me they didnt have anything for the 2016 yet yes if you have any pics that would be great to see your progress.

I'm assuming since the rotors are the same as the 04+, the Brembo kit can be used using CGR's brackets. Might need someone to verify measurements though.

Rear will be tricky due to the parking brake set-up since it's not like the 95-03. So the FB-Rear BBK wont work.

I bet those Brembo calipers would fit the 8th Gen using the same brackets if not slightly modified.

With that said, probably any A34 FB Wilwood BBK kits would also fit it.

New Maxima owner, but had a G37 prior. Does anyone know if the Akebono 14" BBK would fit? This was a common upgrade on the 370z and Infinitis. Figured Nissan would same or similar suspension parts, but the front wheel drive components might be different. Thanks any info would be appreciated.

Ok, so I read that the seventh gen can use the Akebono brakes, but the parking brake won't work. Second thing I read was that 7th and 8th gen have same brakes? Can someone confirm this? Thanks

Taking this back to the top. Just trying to keep this discussion going. Does brembo make a rear kit?

Akebono from G37 or 370Z fits and parking brake works fine.

Thanks, looks like you know what parts work. How's the pedal feel? Any issues with the advanced cruise control? Are you running coil overs or springs? Your max looks awesome

Pedal feel is a vast improvement over stock. Idk about advanced cruise control because I dont use it. Im running Tein Coilovers from 2009+ nissan altimas which is essentially the same as 7th gen maxima suspension but I like tein for comfort reasons..ride is just as smooth as stock IMO. thanks for the compliment. Front needs a little more low though.
