Excessive Turn Signal Volume

I have a 2016 Maxima Platinum and find the left and right turn signal blinker volume to be very excessive and annoying. Especially waiting at a long lights. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a setting or way to limit this volume or completely shut it off? Thanks.

I don't find it abnormally loud. To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to adjust it.

Changing the flasher unit I believe is the only alternative. There are some car makers that have a real quiet flasher.

There isn't one, its integrated into the Body Control Module, and is really just a computer controlled blinking with sound added.

The noise doesn't bother me, but I have had other people comment on how loud the blinkers are.... So you're not alone....

These blinkers seem a tad louder than my previous Maximas, but manufacturers, after years of making the blinkers quieter as cars got quieter, are now raising the volume slightly because so many folks are listening to the radio, chatting, on the phone or other devices, etc, and surrounding traffic noises are much more of a problem than they were in the old days. The driver MUST be able to hear the blinker above all other noises, else he may leave the blinker on, misleading a vehicle pulling out from a side road/street. Whammo! Lights out.

I would just turn the volume up on the stereo. If it's designed to increase as the stereo volume increases I'm impressed. But seriously these days I want to ask why does it even matter? It's not like half the people on the road use one or even remembers it exist anyway. Turn indicators are on the endangered species list.
